Chocolate Box 2020 Letter

Thank you very much for writing for me, first & foremost! This is my first time participating in this kind of exchange, & I am super excited!
General Likes:
- Fairy tale motifs, biblical (as in Old Testament) motifs, mythological motifs in general
- Characters bonding over domestic things (especially cooking/baking/grocery shopping/other things to do with food), characters arguing over domestic things, characters making up with each other with domestic things.
- Transformation, especially wings/extra arms. Preferably with some horror, but not too much of the “snapping of bones” variety.
- Themes of things repeating, traditions, “we’ve done this before, but let’s try it again anyway, to see what works.”
- Casual genderfuckery - guys in skirts & girls in suits, & nobody cares, apart from possibly finding that particular person hot. No deep rumination on gender, just comfort in playing with it.
- People saying the wrong thing, then trying to fix it, & all parties not being perfect, but more or less muddling through. Characters reconciling after a long time apart.
- Pack dynamics: “this is *my* person, this is *my* family” type things, especially mixed in with omegaverse. A whole group of people taking care of their sick/injured/pregnant/emotionally devastated loved one.
- Little moments captured at certain times of day - late night cups of tea at the dinner table, watching the sun set while walking down the street, the quiet moment in a kitchen while a party is going on outside.

Long, meandering, organic conversations that go on tangents.
- Characters who are bad at being emotionally sincere trying very hard to do so.
Smut Likes
- Omegaverse, especially if f/f. I especially love female Alphas (with cocks, that knot). All the associated omegaverse tropes as well, including pregnancy, scent kink, possessiveness, pack dynamics. Umbrella Academy
- I really, really love the idea of Allison trying to bond with Vanya. Maybe she wants to prove to Vanya that they should be BEST BUDDIES, maybe she’s trying to show Vanya that she’s sorry about their upbringing. Maybe she’s trying to prove just how much BETTER she is, because she’s forgiving Vanya! Maybe the facade cracks and they have a flaming row and kiss and make up, maybe Allison snaps and ends up “punishing” Vanya (with spanking or forced regression or something equally devious). Lots of Vanya being embarrassed and bad at people. I’d prefer Vanya isn’t some martyred saint, but is just as awkward and selfish as the rest of them. I’d prefer a happy ending, whether because Allison has rumored Vanya into being happy, or they’re finally learning how to be nice to each other and treat each other like human beings. I’d also prefer Allison to very much Not Get Vanya, and to Vanya very qually to Not Get Allison (e.g., “Vanya, why don’t you wear dresses?” sorts of situations).
- For Helen/Vanya, Helen apologizing for her nastiness (the whole “scared thirteen year old”), or Vanya thanking her for it (possibly sarcastically). The two of them being prickly and weird, but bonding.
- Omegaverse, I really love the idea of Vanya as the family’s only omega. Reginald hid it, and then she went into heat once she got off of her medication, and… well, now she’s knocked up, and the family gathers around her.
- Alternately, Vanya as an Alpha, new to being an Alpha (her medicine fucked something up, so she couldn’t smell anything, now she suddenly can TELL!), and now there are all of these OMEGAS around, and they all smell so GOOD! Especially if she’s swept off of her feet by a good looking Omega (like Eudora or Helen).

The Last of Us
- Ellie/Riley falling in love. Maybe a sad vignette of them in the mall post-bite, or an AU where they don’t get bitten, or the two of them bonding in the military academy. Maybe Ellie writes Riley letters that she never sends, after Riley runs off to join the Fireflies? Lots of lonely, awkward pining. Maybe more bad puns & horrible jokes, since in Left Behind Ellie mentions “another” pun book.

Xeno with any of these three. Lots of attention to how they’re not human anymore, the way their bodies are so strange but so familiar at the same time. I am good with just about anything with this, honestly, as long as you can grab that same strange dreamy quality that permeates the game.
Doctor Who
- Yaz/The Thirteenth Doctor. The Doctor is utterly enchanted with her new body, all the new things she can do with it. She asks Yaz for advice on how to navigate a female body, she commiserates with Yaz. She really adores Yaz, she wants to share all of the EXCITEMENT of living life with her new best friend! Who she might possibly be in love with! Yaz being bemused but happily letting herself be dragged along, because, well, she is nuts about the Doctor, so why not try it? Would love something where the Doctor gets to share something with Yaz (especially something food-y, like feeding her something exotic), maybe something where they kiss on an alien beach? Also the Doctor bottoming to Yaz, Yaz being slightly unnerved about having that much power, but being willing to at least try it. Especially if there’s some kind of bondage involved.
- River Song/The Thirteenth Doctor. River is excited to meet her wife! Maybe she enjoys the chance to just be a little taller than the Doctor! Lots of gooey romance would be appreciated - River appreciating her wife’s new body, admiring her new self, her new face. Lots of comparisons to the previous Doctors, but also just having fun with her. Especially with dom!River.
- Missy/The Thirteenth Doctor - hatesex, or maybe… annoyance-sex, if that’s a thing? “You get on my nerves, but I also have hope that you’ll do better” sort of thing. Especially if Missy makes fun of the Doctor for being so chipper.
- Bill Potts/The Thirteenth Doctor - Bill being slightly shocked at the fact that the Doctor is now a lady, & a cute one. The Doctor being overjoyed that Bill is still alive & happy, lots of kissing, maybe Bill lampshading how weird it is? Maybe even Bill/Thirteen/Yaz? I just love the idea of the Doctor being impressed with Bill. Maybe Bill manages to woo her, being good with ladies (or at least, better than the Doctor is used to).
- I would really love some kind of age play with the Doctor, either her as the Little (she has Big Toddler Energy), or her being a caretaker. Maybe Yaz is a Little to unwind, and the Doctor finds out and tries to be encouraging, or is actually encouraging?
