General Likes:
- Fairy tale motifs, biblical (as in Old Testament) motifs, mythological motifs in general
- Characters bonding over domestic things (especially cooking/baking/grocery shopping/other things to do with food), characters arguing over domestic things, characters making up with each other with domestic things. People doing each other’s laundry as a sign of affection, people making food for each other as a sign of affection, or to show their annoyance, but they love them anyway.
- Transformation, especially wings/extra arms. Preferably with some horror, but not too much of the “snapping of bones” variety.
- Themes of things repeating, traditions, “we’ve done this before, but let’s try it again anyway, to see what works.”
- Casual genderfuckery - guys in skirts and girls in suits, and nobody cares, apart from possibly finding that particular person hot. No deep rumination on gender, just comfort in playing with it.

I’d love stuff exploring her insecurities, or how hard she’s trying. Anything with her having a crush on someone, anything like that. I really love Yaz, and would just like to see her character explored in general - why she tries so hard, maybe her coming more into her own, or figuring out more about what she wants to do with herself.

I really love how hard Thirteen is trying to be Okay. I’d love the idea of someone breaking past that shell, or her breaking down in front of them. I also love that way that Thirteen has of just making everything that much more exciting by the way she describes it - her dragging someone on a madcap adventures, or her being stuck in some kind of domestic situation that she’s not very good at, but going along with it anyway because she needs to, for whatever reason. I’d also love something where she ends up a little bit vulnerable, whether via sex or something as simple as needing a cry after… everything.
River Song

Post-Library Fic
I love how River is so self assured and so terrified at the same time. I love how she’s always off on her own adventures, and how she’s no doubt had who knows how many lovers and wives and husbands and best friends. River’s life has been full and exciting, and I’d love a nibble of that. Especially if she’s up to something no good (diamond heist! Bribing someone to get into some special place for an archaeological dig! Breaking into a museum for a laugh!) and drags someone along for the ride.
Petronella Osgood
Osgood is such a weird, complicated character. I love how she’s so uncomfortable and awkward in some ways, but so self assured in others. How she knows so much about the Doctor, and how she somehow managed to turn herself into a fangirl, how she got into UNIT, what she’s doing with herself now that UNIT is gone. I’d honestly be happy with just about anything with her.
Martha Jones

Martha/Mickey
Martha Jones is a fascinating character, and I love her so much. She’s definitely one of my favorite companions, and I’d love just about anything with her. Maybe her post-UNIT life, maybe how she trained with them, maybe her time with Torchwood, or the year she walked the Earth. I’d really love to see stuff with her getting over her crush on the Doctor, or wallowing in it delightfully, or something else entirely. I just love Martha so much!
The Master (Dhawan)

This Master is so broken and so angry, and I would love something exploring that. Something with his rage, something with his hunger, something with his obsession over the Doctor, or him trying to fixate on something else and failing. Maybe his time as O, and his interactions with past companions of the Doctor, or even what he got up to in the Year that Never Was, or his time waiting for the Doctor to show up again after she’d left him in Paris.
Bill Potts
I love Bill. She’s so cheerful and so snarky, always so curious. She always wants to find out what’s going to happen next, and she always looks at things differently from everyone else. I would love to see her navigating being buddies with the 12th Doctor while trying to date, or running into someone while she’s on some kind of adventure, or just bouncing off of someone else in an unexpected location and going from there. I just love Bill and want all the best for her, and would like her to be happy.
Missy
Missy is such a complex, painful character, and I’d love to see that explored. Maybe someone having the fortune/misfortune of running into her when she’s at her evilest (in her old garden, perhaps, during the business with the Cybermen), or at some point before we got to meet her. There’s also her time while she was in the Vault - maybe she was sneaking out to get into mischief, or just to get herself takeout and a pedicure. Alternately, Missy when she was trying very hard to be Good, even if she wasn’t particularly good at it. Missy, wanting to prove how she can be friends without murder and general havoc.

Marni is such a complicated character. We know almost nothing about her, apart from apparently everyone loved her, and that she died. I would love to see some exploration of what she might have been like, if she was as wonderful as everyone remembered or if she had some unexpected flaws. Maybe something where a character is thinking about their relationship with her, or some pre-canon fic about her with someone else.

Mag is such a tragic, intense character. I would love a piece about her before she got her sight back, or something about her reconciling having her sight back with losing her best friend/lover (if you want to go in that direction), or if you’ve got the headcanon that Mag’s eyes were original Marni’s. Maybe something about her discovering her singing voice, or how she met the various people in her life, or what she did as she got towards the end of her life, and knew it.

Amber is a weird character. On the surface, she feels shallow and stereotypical of a certain type, and then you get a little deeper - she’s the only one to express worry about her father’s health at certain points, and she very clearly wants people to like her. Maybe something about that, about how badly she wants to be loved and that’s why she keeps changing herself. She’s also the most canny of the siblings - like how she inherited the whole company - and seeing that be explored would be a lot of fun, too. Seeing how she takes advantage of everyone underestimating her, and maybe someone sees through it, to her.

I really, really love Vanya. She’s such a complicated, angry character. I would absolutely adore a fic about her coming in to her own (in all the messy, painful, complicated ways one can) after she’s gotten off of her medications. Maybe the ramifications of suddenly having powers all of a sudden (I can imagine that being utterly terrifying), or her finally dealing with the fact that she has emotions now, and she has to actually deal with them, like an adult. Maybe something with her pre-canon, where she’s still numb and fumbling around - having a crush on a sibling or a person who she works at, or trying to figure out what it is that’s missing with her. Maybe someone else trying to romance her, and she’s fumbling her way through it. Maybe a sibling trying to connect with her after canon, or a friend from the orchestra, and the two of them working through all of the painful history to figure out some kind of working relationship.

I would love to see her trying so hard to relate to someone else, and failing, or succeeding even though it’s awkward. I’d also love something with her powers, and how she’s figuring out how to navigate life without them.
